Press-on nails offer a salon-quality look without the time, cost, or damage of traditional acrylics or gels. They’re lightweight, reusable, and don’t weaken your natural nails when applied and removed correctly.

All of our orders are custom made just for you. Kindly allow up to 14 days for your nails to be made, in addition to shipping times.

Once an order is placed, we’re unable to cancel it due to the custom nature of our products.

We do our best to photograph every set in natural lighting to capture colours as accurately as possible. However, please keep in mind that colours may appear slightly different in person due to variations in screen displays.

Since each set is handmade, there may also be small differences from one set to another. These variations are part of the custom nature of our products, and we take great care to ensure your nails are as close to a perfect match as possible to the design shown.

Not if applied and removed correctly! When you follow proper prep and removal steps, press-on nails are a safe, non-damaging alternative to acrylics or gel extensions. There's no harsh filing or drilling required.

What can cause damage to natural nails?

Damage typically happens if:

• Nails are ripped off instead of soaked off
  
• Nails are filed too aggressively before application

At Lala Nail Art, we offer multiple sizing options to ensure your press-ons fit like a dream!

Option 1: Order a Sizing Kit
This is our most recommended method! By purchasing a sizing kit, you'll be able to find your perfect fit at home—and as a bonus, you'll receive a discount on your first order.

Option 2: Send a Photo for Sizing
If you prefer not to use a sizing kit, you can send us clear photos of both hands and a close-up of your thumb next to a $1 or $2 coin. Just message us on Instagram with your photos and order details, and we’ll do our best to size you up.

Please note: This method isn't as precise and may result in sizing errors, so we always recommend using a sizing kit when possible.

Option 3: Use Tape to Measure
Wrap a piece of tape or a strip of paper snugly around each nail to measure the width. Compare these measurements to our size guide to find your best fit. This quick method can be helpful if you don’t have a sizing kit or camera handy—but it may not be as accurate as the sizing kit.

Temporary Wear (3–4 Days)
Using the included sticky tabs and following the correct prep steps, your nails can last up to 3–4 days—perfect for special events or a quick glam-up!

Extended Wear (Up to 3 Weeks)
For a longer-lasting look, apply your nails with our nail glue and proper prep. This method can keep your nails flawless for up to 3 weeks.

Keep in Mind:
Wear time may vary based on your lifestyle and how carefully you follow the prep and application instructions.

Step 1: Prep (Don’t Skip This!)

Proper nail prep is crucial for ensuring your press-ons stay on as long as possible.

1. Gently push back your cuticles using the included cuticle stick, and lightly file your natural nails.
2. Use the nail file in your kit to lightly buff the surface of your natural nails, you dont want any shine to your natural nails.
3. Thoroughly wipe each nail with the alcohol pad to remove natural oils. This step helps the adhesive bond better!
   

Step 2: Choose Your Adhesive

Option 1: Sticky Tabs (Short-Term Wear – Up to 3–4 Days)
Select the correct tab size for each nail and apply directly to your natural nails.

Option 2: Nail Glue (Long-Term Wear – Up to 3 Weeks)
Apply a small, pea-sized amount of glue to both your natural nail and the back of the press-on.
Avoid touching the glue—it bonds fast!

Step 3: Press & Hold

Apply each press-on nail at a 45° angle starting at the cuticle and press firmly for 20–30 seconds, making sure to eliminate any air bubbles for a secure fit.

Removing your press-ons is easy—and completely damage-free—when done the right way!

Step 1: Soak
Fill a bowl with warm water, a few drops of soap, and a splash of oil (cuticle oil, kitchen oil, or even body oil all work great).

Step 2: Wait
Soak your nails for 10–15 minutes to loosen the adhesive.

Step 3: Gently Remove
Once the nails start lifting, gently wiggle them off. Avoid forcing them to prevent damage.

Removal time may vary depending on how much glue was used and how long you've been wearing your set. Some nails might take a little longer—just be patient and keep soaking if needed!
